FARM RULES AND FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS

There are a few things to remember to make your visit safe and enjoyable for you and your family!

  1. All children must stay with an adult at all times. That does not mean within eyesight, that means that you need to be able to reach out and touch your child at all times. 

  2. No gates should be opened at any time by anyone other than staff. 

  3. Do not feed animals any food or items that you brought from outside of the farm. All animal feed can be purchased at the farm. 

  4. Do not pick up or throw rocks, sticks, or other items. 

  5. All trash must go in a trash receptacle as it can cause harm to animals

  6. For safety DO NOT allow children to run.

  7. DO NOT CHASE OR HARASS CHICKENS OR OTHER ANIMALS INCLUDING WILDLIFE. DO NOT PICK UP TURTLES LIZARDS SNAKES FROGS ETC. 

  8. NO PETS ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.

  9. IF YOU WALK ON THE FARM TRAIL PLEASE STAY ON THE TRAIL. 

  10. If you or your child need to use the restroom please cleanup after yourself.

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS

If you decide to purchase feed for the animals upon entering the farm there are a few things to remember. Only feed animal feed to the animals listed below.

 

CARROTS look like fingers, use a flat hand when feeding the horses, donkeys, camel, alpacas, and emus.


ALFALFA PELLETS are for the alpacas or adult goats on either end of the farm but DO NOT feed them to the baby goats as they can upset their stomach.
